Living in Hawaii inspires all my creations, from the colors that I choose to the designs that I create.
Since childhood, art has been an important part of my life.
In my teens, I discovered the art of silk painting, which sparked a curiosity for textile arts.
As an admirer of Japanese art, animation, and culture, I became very interested in the traditional art of shibori, and began experimenting with my own designs in 2017.
In 2020, I challenged myself to turn my passion for shibori into a full time career.
My designs are inspired by the diverse natural environment here in the islands.
I will continue to explore the ʻāina, constantly seeking inspiration for my designs.
